Spotted Salamander Earrings

Handcut with a jewelers saw, the salamanders are soldered onto a triangular backplate and then they are coated with mica-pigmented resin to add the colors. Spotted Salamanders are quite common in the New England area and often will see them migrating in the spring when the first rainfall after the last frost occurs.
