some favorites just for fun

Sterling Silver Jasper Cuff Bracelet
This cuff was a custom gift. This piece was handcrafted with an Arizona Jasper stone that was found during a vacation with my boyfriend. The cuff was made of sterling silver sheet metal and the texture was added with the rolling mill and a textured sheet. This was one of my most favorite gifts and projects to make.
Franconia Iron Furnace Slag and River Rock Necklace
This piece was created as part of my body of work for my Advanced Jewelry Class at the School of Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. My Body of Work was a tribute to my hometown of Franconia, New Hampshire. This piece represents the Iron Furnace and the center of the copper pendent holds a tiny piece of blue slag collected right from the source. The river rocks incorporated into the chain as well as the tiny chain hanging from the copper pendent represent the river that flows under the furnace. Lastly, the shape of the pendent represents the opening of the furnace.

Sterling Silver Roads Diverged Ring
This ring was another piece of my body of work for my Advanced Jewelry Class at the School of Museum of Fine Arts. It was lost-wax cast sterling silver ring. There is folklore around Franconia and some letters that suggest Robert Frost's Poem, The Road Not Taken, was written about the road leading to my childhood home where my parents still reside. This is a representation of the road because it is described as two roads diverged. The carved texture represents tree rings that line the sides of the roads.
We Fly Together Brooch
This piece was created as part of my body of work for my Advanced Jewelry Class at the School of Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. My Body of Work was a tribute to my hometown of Franconia, New Hampshire. This was a response piece to some public lgbtq+ art that cause controversy with a couple individuals in the Franconia surrounding area. This brooch is called We Fly Together because were all in this fight for human rights together. Migration in birds are a symbol of unity and collaboration where there is always someone leading the flight but that leader changes constantly. The arms wrap the blue circular enamel piece like a hug around the world. There is a piece of birch bark hanging from the brooch with an NFC tag on the back that links to resources for trans and lgbtq+ youth in New Hampshire.

RESIN DOUBLE NECKLACE
This was a custom order for a friend who requested two pendants that represented her two girls, on one necklace. M & W are the girls' initials. The chain appears to be two separate necklaces but are connected at the clasp. The flowers and leaves were fresh when they were submerged in the UV resin and then the resin was cured.

TO THE MOON AND BACK EARRINGS
"I love you to the moon and back." Enough said.
These earrings were very limited edition in my shop but have sold quickly. They are hand cut copper moons soldered to a copper ring with added tiny heart stampings.
